Sumario:The purpose of this study was to estimate the exchange rates updated ambient temperature, sea surface temperature, sea level, height and direction of the incident wave on the coast of the province of Manabí from the analysis of time series record long term. The results can show that the climate change is affecting the contemporary coastal of Manabí, which is expressed in the presence of linear trends in the main behavior of all analyzed signals. The ambient temperature in Portoviejo shows an exchange rate of 0,012°C/year; while the sea surface temperature recorded in Manta with an exchange rate of 0,011°C/year. The average sea level is increasing in Manta with an exchange rate of 1,1 mm/year; the significant wave height increases 1,46 cm in each year and the direction of swell, with a rotation southward from 0,29° to 0,58°. These rates are the order of magnitude of the global trend recorded.
