Descripción
Sumario:
The chapter presents methodological approaches: natural observations and conducting experimental studies. Traditional methods of research are described: helminthological, parasitological, malacological, and ecological and molecular genetics. Also, much attention is paid to the collection sites of the material, the species composition and the number of animals studied (vertebrates and invertebrates). Preparation of homogenates of trematode Sch. turkestanicum, and liver of Lymnaea auricularia molluscs was carried out. Methods of thin-layer chromatography, determination of the fatty acid composition of phospholipids, hydrolysis and methylation of phospholipids and their fractions are described. Methods of histological studies of organs of infected animals are highlighted.
