Praziquantel, administered orally at a dose of 20–25 mg/kg of sheep and cattle weight, proved to be a highly effective anthelmintic against schistosomiasis in animals, where the extensive effectiveness was up to 100%. Currently, this drug is widely used for the treatment and prevention of animal schistosomiasis in the farms of Uzbekistan.</p> |
